The Wales Bonner x adidas Samba Nylon “Fox Brown” is a collaboration by the fashion designer on the retro indoor shoe in a premium build with unique design elements. Wales Bonner and adidas have worked together on multiple occasions, including on several colorways of the popular Samba model. For this style from the November 2023 set of Sambas by Wales Bonner, the upper features a Fox Brown nylon construction with tonal hairy suede on the toe and eyelet panels. Sandy Beige-colored Three Stripes branding appears on each side. Additional beige accenting is seen on the “Wales Bonner” logo on the lateral side of the heel, on the heel tab, and on the branding on the fold-over tongue, which is a design trait inspired by the Samba’s original soccer shoe design. The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Brotherhood” is a February 2022 release of the vintage basketball shoe that honours Michael Jordan’s Omega Psi Phi fraternity from his alma mater, the University of North Carolina. The “Brotherhood” is yet another Air Jordan colourway that offers a look into Jordan’s life, this time drawing inspiration from the fraternity he was a member of while playing college basketball with the Tar Heels. The look of the shoe is inspired specifically by the Omicron Alpha chapter, an African-American fraternity founded in 1911 that has signature colours of purple and University Gold, both of which appear on the shoe. Specifically, the perforated toe, collar, and heel feature University Gold leather while the toe cap, forefoot, eyelets, and laces are dipped in Light Bordeaux. The Union LA x Air Jordan 1 KO Low “White” is a collaboration by Cthe popular clothing and sneaker boutique on an alternate version of the classic sneaker. Union’s Jordan 1 KO Low marks the first-ever release of the model in low-top form. The original Air Jordan 1 KO Mid was released in 1985 and based on the Jordan 1, but switches up the latter’s leather design for canvas. Here, Union replaces the Jordan 1 KO’s canvas build with leather for a unique look. The shoe features a Sail-colored leather and suede upper. A Neutral Grey Swoosh appears on either side. “AJKO Wings” branding is located on the heel, and Union’s “Frontman” logo is printed on the insole. The Eric Koston x Air Jordan 1 Low SB “UNC” is a special release of the Jordan 1 Low by Nike SB pro Eric Koston. The skate legend brings the original “UNC” color scheme to the Jordan 1 Low that has been slightly modified to be ideal for skateboarding. The construction features an all-leather upper in the recognizable white and powder blue combination first seen on the original Jordan 1 High from 1985. The interior is bolstered with extra padding for protection while skating. The Nike SB logo is present on the tongue, while a classic Air Jordan wings logo is found printed on the heel. A combination of plush materials in warm hues of pink, rust, and orange highlights the appearance of the “Apricot.” The perforated toe and middle eyelet panel features a rustic orange suede material. An orange-pink hue of leather graces the tumbled leather Swoosh branding on either side and on the forefoot and collar overlays. The Edison Chen x Air Jordan 1 Mid “Fearless” is the CLOT designer’s reimagining of Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe as part of the massive “Fearless” campaign of winter 2019. Inspired by the Chinese concept of yin and yang, CLOT’s traditional “Royale Silk” material is applied throughout the upper of the shoe. The repeating pattern is contrasted by a black embroidered Swoosh on the mid-panel and a tonal embroidered Wings logo on the collar. When worn, the silver nylon woven upper reveals an underlying black and gold premium construction. Detailing includes a Swoosh and Chinese coin tied into the black cotton laces, which is located on the throat of the shoe.
